Mr. Nichols is a litigation attorney specializing in environmental, product liability, and toxic tort litigation. Of note, Mr. Nichols represented The Dow Chemical Company as second-chair trial counsel in the four-month long trial in the complex toxic tort case, City of Modesto Redevelopment Agency, et al. v. The Dow Chemical Company, et al. As associate of liaison counsel in this ongoing case, Mr. Nichols continues to assist and coordinate joint defense trial activities and operations.
Mr. Nichols' other significant experience includes:

representing and assisting in representing The Dow Chemical Company in other toxic tort matters;

representing PPG, Industries, Inc. and The Sherwin Williams Company as local counsel in benzene personal injury litigation;

assisting in the representation of seatbelt-maker Autoliv ASP and related Autoliv entities in personal injury product liability actions;

assisting in the representation of American Cyanamid in the public nuisance lead paint litigation, County of Santa Clara, et al. v. Atlantic Richfield, et al.

During law school, Mr. Nichols served as Captain of the B.Y.U. International Moot Court Team, President of the B.Y.U. International and Comparative Law Society, Vice-President of the B.Y.U. Chapter of the American Constitution Society, and Staff Editor with the B.Y.U. Law Review.
