John R. Lawless is an associate in the firm's Los Angeles office. He has considerable experience representing Fortune 500 companies in products liability, pharmaceutical, toxic tort and commercial matters. Before joining the firm in May of 2009, Mr. Lawless worked for a major international law firm where he gained significant motion, deposition and case management experience in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Lawless represents various clients in products and premise liability matters involving alleged harm as a result of asbestos and benzene exposure. He previously represented an international petroleum company in a nuisance action initiated by several California cities and counties seeking recovery for alleged lead paint contamination.

Mr. Lawless was previously part of the national defense team responsible for defending a major pharmaceutical company against alleged claims of heart valve damage due to the ingestion of diet drugs.
